Housing for All is a grassroots campaign that mobilizes tenants and the unhoused to demand safe, affordable housing in New Britain. With the city experiencing increased gentrification and a surge in luxury apartments, Housing for All seeks an end to tax breaks for unaffordable housing, investment in public and social housing options, regulation and oversight of rental prices and housing conditions, and the cessation of no-cause evictions. The campaign advocates for a comprehensive Unhoused Bill of Rights and asserts the right to public restrooms and shelter.
